Aww… it was great catching up and I admire you for toughing it out the next day… very impressive. PS – told M. about Tolstoy doing “really well” and she thought it was hilarious…
Tolstoy glared at me all day yesterday, as I forgot to feed him his daily 6 stringbeans. Imagine what a death stare looks like from a Russian Tortoise. Yikes!
Oooh, how was it? I’ve been wanting to go to Pure Food and Wine for a while but haven’t made it yet.
Pure Food and Wine was fantastic. Truly delicious, it’s amazing what that kitchen can do within the parameters of Raw Food. The only thing that disappointed me was the Carrot Cake dessert – too much icing, not nearly enough cake. I’d go back in a heartbeat. (Service was amazing, too, and I’m a self-admitted pain in the ass.)
