Today, I sent three pairs of old trainers here.
(Have been diligently pecking out the last half of my race report on my Blackberry as I commute to and fro. It WILL be posted this week. Sorry to keep any of you in suspense! i ran for the first time today since the marathon–I sprinted a block, in heels, to catch the bus! Felt good–do you think I need to stretch now?)
Yesterday I ran across the street because the ‘dont walk’ had been flashing for a perilously long time and I didnt want to get hit by a cab. It felt a bit tight but good nonetheless.
As I crossed the street, I was thinking what a treat it must have been for everyone in the vicinity to see me run. It’s gotta be like seeing Bill O’Reilly spin or watching Picasso paint.
I *am* waiting in suspense! I am glad that you made your goal! 🙂 I am running a marathon on December 15th and am on pins and needles, basically. Waiting to read, waiting to read! 🙂
Yeay for donating old running shoes. I’m going to be donating my first pair very shortly.
I gave all my college textbooks to Books For Africa. I love that programs like this exist.
