You Look Like a Monkey

Today is the first birthday of Pigtails Flying. If you were to sing to me, “You look like a monkey, and you smell like one too!” I’m not so sure I could refute you, since it’s been a verrah verrah long day at the office. In any case: Happy Birthday to my writing self! 

Here is my first post, ironically a race report for the Manhattan Half-Marathon. (Posts included in the archives dated before 1/27/08 were not written for PF, they were written for my MySpace blog and moved over after I “launched” Pigtails.) 

Unfortunately for you all, I haven’t run out of things to say about running yet. 

To date: 364 posts and 1,099 comments. Truly, I thank you, generous readers and friends, for your participation and feedback. I’m not kidding when I say some days, I get out there and run because I’ve deluded myself to believe it’s what you expect of me.
